Brett Hayes, MSPT
Clinic Director/Owner

Brett Hayes, MSPTBrett has been a practicing Physical Therapist since 1994. Brett graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon receiving his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1991, and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy graduating with Pacific University’s Distinguished Graduate Award in 1994. As an undergraduate Brett was a collegiate football player including a Columbia Football Association All-Conference pick as an offensive lineman in 1990 for the NAIA Division II Pacific University Boxers.

After four years of clinical practice in the Portland area, Brett’s clinical highlights began to emerge as he relocated to Seattle and began a clinical affiliation with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. During this tenure, Brett had the opportunity not only to work with members of the Seahawks organization, but also professional athletes from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, San Diego Chargers, and Green Bay Packers. Through this he also worked with athletes from several Division one colleges including the University of Washington and Stanford University. Upon relocating to Boise, he was also affiliated with the Boise Burn of the AF2 arena football conference in its inaugural season.

Brett’s clinical philosophies were influenced not only by upscale sports medicine, but greatly influenced by professional strength and conditioning coaches who helped him shape and mold a fusion of rehabilitation techniques and advanced sports training techniques. He was able to find a way to develop these strategies to be applicable to all abilities regardless of age or whether or not a person is athletic or even chooses not to be. Brett’s philosophy gives his clients the ability to not only rehabilitate their injuries but also to achieve a level of strength and fitness of which they thought was never attainable. The vast majority of Brett’s clients leave Gridiron not only free of their pain and dysfunction but are usually in much better shape than they were before their injury. Additionally the Playbook Circuit Training Program they are given the opportunity to take their progress to new levels and reach a level of fitness and mobility of which they never dreamed.

Gridiron is the culmination of a dream for Brett. His goals are to revolutionize the Physical Therapy and fitness industry to a more medically supported and athletically driven vision that will change the face of fitness, rehabilitation and health care as we know it. He invites you to take charge of your health and fitness on the cutting edge. On your first visit to Gridiron his passion to his vision is evident and you will be encouraged to reach your goals both in injury recovery and fitness in ways you never imagined.
