THE PLAYBOOK - Athletic Circuit Training Program

Our Playbook is a comprehensive medically supervised circuit training program designed not only to meet physical appearance and weight loss goals, but also to improve general flexibility, strength, agility and overall function. The goal of the Playbook is to restore the human body as much as possible to the strength, flexibility, endurance and athleticism of youth.

The program consists of 6 separate circuits. Two of the circuits are designed globally: upper body, lower body, agility and core. The remaining 4 are specialized: upper body, lower body, core and agility. Each circuit has 20 stations and is set via an interval timer. The timer allows for 1 minute at each station followed by a 30 second transition/rest time. The completion of each circuit will take 30 minutes. The program is designed so that a different circuit is performed each day and the program is done at least 4 days a week. The circuits that are performed are up to the members choices for their desired goals and outcomes.

Each circuit has 3 other supporting modules: A pre-stretching station, a post-stretching/recovery station and a 10-15 minute interval training module. Pre-stretching takes about 5 minutes as does post stretching.

The program is designed for the rigors and demands of today’s lifestyle. It is quick (can be completed in less than an hour), it is comprehensive and it is performed under the observation of medical personnel who are on hand to ensure proper techniques, address issues and modify exercises and treat injuries or general soreness associated with their exercises or other activities of daily living.
